Bavathra is a popular teledrama broadcasted originally in Jathika Rupavahini. An occasion where the story, production and the direction done by a same person Sunil Rathnayake proving Sri Lanka got talented artist which we must treasure. This drama has been recognized as the very first science fiction which used 3D animation. A story which narrate interactions between an alien called Eelu and the local people and become popular. An instance used to showcase some collection of mysterious occurrences happened in Sri Lanka to direct the local audience from traditional mentality to scientific mentality.
