Sansararanya Asabada

Sansaranya Asabada was a teledrama telecasted in ITN. Sanjaya Nirmal was the director and the script writer was Simon Navagattegama. The producer was Ann Dunseford. This is a teledrama which address a specific audience and a strive to direct the ordinary audience to a new angle of Art. This is a novel based teledrama which illustrate incidents taken place in a village where feudal set up has been governed by the head of the village. A classical approach to feed the souls of the audience where they used to fill up the plate with ordinary entertainment and a teledrama which evoke the deep Buddhist concept of emptiness. The teledrama was colored by the Wasantha Kotuwella, Udari Warnakulasuriya, Dineth de Silva, Umali Thilakaratne, Ajith Weerasinghe, Charith Abeysinghe, Lal Kularatne, Thusitha Laknath, and Udayanthi Kulathunga as the main cast.
