Weda Hamine

Weda Hamine is a popular teledrama broadcasted originally in Jathika Rupavahini. A creation of Jayantha Chandrasiri showcasing the wonders of traditional medicine and the compassion. The producer is Sunil Rathnayaka.

Teledrama narrates a story of a wealthy businessman Kamal, became a drunkard knowing he is going to die of cancer. A friend of Kamal, Shriyantha takes Kamal to a traditional ayurvedhic doctor and miraculously he cured Kamal’s cancer. After that Kamal return to Colombo and again become a drunkard. Second time he gained a cancer attack and this time he’s really frightened about his life and goes to the Weda Mahattaya but unfortunately he’s dead.

Kamal pleaded the daughter of Weda Mahattaya to cure him. The story flows as she accepts the challenge. An artwork which showcase healing a tormented personality with the aid of both medicine and love. Kamal Addararachchi, Rebecca Nirmalie, Shriyantha Mendis, Jackson Anthony, Chandani Senevirathne lead the plot in a magnificent way.
